A. Copyright Declaration

1.Exclusive of the subject matters set out under Copyright Act (please refer to Article 9, Copyright Act), all the graphics  and text posted on "Lukang Private Folk Arts Museum, Changhua  County" official website (hereinafter referred to as “Museum’s Official Website”) including text, photography, pictures,  audio, video and other information are under protection of  Copyright Act.

2.The museum welcomes you to freely utilize any foregoing  subject matters defined by Article 9, Copyright Act.

3.The information posted on this Museum's Official Website is  under copyright protection. Unless under the circumstances of practicing "fair use," the usage of information is allowed only under prior consent or authorization from the museum’s authorized copyright owner (please refer to explanatory note on  publication authorization).

4.Explanation of "fair use" as follows:

(1)The museum is the copyright owner of the materials posted  openly in the name of the museum on the Museum’s Official Website. The reproduction, public broadcast or transmission of the materials are permitted by fair use, but stating the source of the content is required (with images and text links from Lukang Folk Arts Museum).

(2)The information posted on the Museum's Official Website,can be reproduced for nonprofit purposes by individuals or families.

(3)Limited by the doctrines of "fair use," the source of content must be specified upon retrieval of information from  Museum’s Official Website for reporting, criticism, comment, teaching, research or other legitimate purposes.

(4)Please refer to Articles 44-65, Copyright Act for other usages of "fair use."

 

5.In compliance with the provisions stated in Article 80-1.1, Copyright Act, unless when there is technical limitation  that results in unavoidable removal or alteration to  electronic rights management information, no legitimate usage is allowed. Or unless limited by recordings or transmission  system conversion that require the removal or alteration  technically, no removal or alteration to the electronic rights management information posted by our museum.

6.Besides the forgoing rules on utilization of the images from the Museum's Official Website, please take note of the relevant regulations on Portrait Rights concerning the figures  photographed and Personal Data Act.

1.Though no prior consent required for websites linked to the  Museum’s Official Website, the link must state and specify the museum name as: "Lukang Folk Arts Museum."

2.The museum will prohibit links that may mislead users.
